Project Details

This building, completed in early 2018, is Britplas’ third project in as many years for main contractor Barnwood Construction.

The project saw us complete the design, manufacture and installation of the full external envelope to this new commercial building including Schüco FW50+ and FW50+SG curtain walling, doors, bespoke architectural metalwork including louvres and brise soleil and an internal atrium feature.

Bespoke brise soleil fins were developed solely for this job to form a picture frame around curtain wall bays. A new dye was cast and all the profiles extruded and anodised to give a bronze finish. The fins were then secured to the curtain wall mullions via specially designed bracketry.
