Project Details
Just north of the famous Australian Gold Coast, Caboolture Hospital is a 216 bed facility dealing with both acute and mental health patients.
During the planned redevelopment of the medium secure wing of the mental health section of the hospital, the lead architect met Britplas Chairman Kevin Gorman at the First World Health Congress in Sydney.
Qualifying through a tough tender and selection process the Safevent window was chosen by Queensland Health and an order for 60 aluminium external sliding versions was placed.
Work involved increasing the amount of adult mental health bedrooms from 19 to 40, as part of the $22.4million project.
