Britplas Façades secures another major facade package with John Sisk & Son for Edgbaston Cricket Ground Redevelopment

Britplas Façades has been appointed by leading contractor John Sisk & Sons to deliver a comprehensive façade solution for the redevelopment of Edgbaston Cricket Ground, one of the UK’s most iconic sporting venues.

This latest appointment builds on the successful relationship established through previous project, Eliza Yard & Jersey Wharf in Ancoats – Manchester, where Britplas has delivered high-quality, innovative façade systems. The repeat business reflects the trust and confidence that has been placed in Britplas’ ability to deliver complex, design-led solutions on time and to the highest standards.

Under the new contract, Britplas will provide a full façade package comprising SFS, rainscreen cladding, curtain wall, and patio doors to the pitch side viewing area, leveraging its unique in-house design and engineering capability to drive innovation and efficiency. This capability enables Britplas to take a proactive, collaborative approach with contractors and architects, often advising on alternative solutions and proprietary designs that help meet budget requirements, accelerate timelines, and enhance the overall building aesthetic.
