In-house Fabrication
At Britplas we pride ourselves on having the operational capacity to manufacture all products sold to ISO 9001 standards using our 42,000 sq. ft. factory in Warrington.
Having our own fabrication facility is an integral aspect of our end-to-end service and allows us to achieve the highest levels of quality control whilst maintaining flexibility which is key to our high customer service levels.

As a company we have continually invested in machinery to help drive growth and maintain the manufacturing standards which our clients have come to expect from us.
A combination of experienced, thoroughly trained staff and state-of-the-art facilities helps ensure consistently high production standards in both specialist and commercial glazing.
The factory management team has worked together for several years, working hard to accommodate the year on year growth we have experienced in both volume and product range. The team continues to expand with more specialist roles being added in recent years to provide support in achieving our ongoing strategic objectives.

Quality, Safety and Compliance
Safety is built into every stage of our manufacturing process.
Every workstation in the Britplas factory has its own risk assessment and PPE requirements and every piece of equipment has a defined list of competent, trained operatives authorised to use it.
Our approach is underpinned by an integrated ISO management system covering both fabrication and installation, supported by our ISO 45001 accreditation for structured hazard identification and risk control.
All windows and doors are manufactured in line with BS EN 14351-1, the European standard governing air permeability, watertightness, wind resistance, thermal efficiency, acoustic performance and mechanical durability.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Full Traceability
We use Fieldwire throughout our factory, from the start to the end of the production process, giving us full digital oversight and traceability at every single stage of manufacture.
This reduces errors, speeds up production and ensures complete accountability for every product we make, while also supporting our net zero targets by significantly cutting paper use across the factory.
