Britplas has won national and international acclaim for our unique products and business.

In 2008, Britplas won Building Better Healthcare’s Best Healthcare Construction Product, celebrating best practice and world-class architecture, design, facilities and estates management in healthcare and projects which have helped create well-designed, therapeutic places aiding recovery.

Britplas’ Safevent window system also notched up the coveted prize for Product Design for Healthcare Application in the 2009 Design & Health International Academy Awards in Singapore, celebrating the most forward-thinking healthcare projects from around the world.

The Safevent brought further plaudits when Merseyside Care NHS Trust won the Hospital Security award in the Health Business Awards 2009.

In 2013, Britplas collected the coveted Product Design for Healthcare Application award at the Design & Health International Academy Awards in Brisbane, Australia, for their revolutionary new Safesee bedroom door.

2014 saw us win Best Development Overseas and the Chairman’s Choice at the Grafters Awards which celebrate the best of the the North West construction industry, as well as the Best Product for Improving Privacy and Dignity at the Building Better Healthcare Awards for our Safevent Security Fencing.

In 2015 and 2016 we were finalists in the Construction News Specialists Awards in the Specialist Contractor of the Year (turnover under £25m) category, winning Highly Commended in 2015, and 2016 also saw us shortlisted in the Construction News Awards Specialist Contractor (turnover under £100m) category.

We were finalists in the Specialist Contractor of the Year category of the Building Awards for 2017 and 2018.
