Britplas completed the design and installation of the façade package to two new Grade A office buildings on the Wirral – heralding the end of the first phase of regeneration in Birkenhead town centre.

Project details

The scheme comprises two new commercial buildings, blocks A1 and A2, which form part of a wider regeneration project led by Wirral Growth Company, a 50:50 joint venture partnership between Wirral Council and national urban regeneration specialists, Muse Developments.
Our contract included the design and installation of Schuco FW60 curtain walling, high specification glazing and bespoke J&T red terracotta column and beam cladding to the facade.
The buildings will provide tenants with a premium, future proofed workspace designed to WELL accredited standards which means the environment will be monitored to support health and wellbeing via air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, and comfort; the goal being to enhance the overall performance and mental wellbeing of its occupants.
Wirral Council will occupy a number of floors in one of the buildings.
