Britplas installed cladding, glazing, windows, doors and architectural features to the Stack – an 11-storey, 1960’s former office tower, plus the new North and South blocks and two historic listed warehouse buildings.
Architectural features included pixel windows to the new buildings as well as a rooftop village of Amsterdam-inspired ‘Dutch houses’, where we completed specialist design elements and the installation of cladding, roofing and glazing including rooflights.
The refurbishment of the Stack involved the installation of some 8,000 m2 of rainscreen panels as well as protruding and inset balconies.
Heritage windows were used for the two existing warehouse buildings, Minshull and Minto & Turner.
The project was carried out across several phases over nearly two years.
