The contract for this scheme followed on from our success on another student accommodation project for Create at Norton Street in Liverpool.
Initial challenges included finding a workable solution for the architect’s concept cladding 3D feature walls, which aimed to create a distinctive and memorable building exterior.
The majority of the exterior facade features a simple design with clean lines and a contemporary use of colours and materials.
Working with our supply chain, we found a cost effective way to form the triangular panels that remained true to the architect’s vision, whilst also conforming to building performance and budgetary requirements.
We are now working with a new main contractor on the second phase on the development to ensure that the next building closely matches the first in terms of both appearance and performance.
