Project details

Works commenced on site at Rathbone Hospital in October 2023 to install our latest Safevent Access windows to all bedrooms. The trust chose integral blinds as an optional extra to help maintain service user privacy and dignity.

Excellent communications and collaboration allowed two bedrooms per day to be refurbished and handed back to the clinical staff. Working closely with MJ Quinn, the Operational Estates Manager for Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust and the clinical staff all the works had been planned and agreed through daily updates and weekly meetings to ensure that all parties understood what was required and there was minimal disruption to both staff and patients. With the facility at full capacity there was no margin for error or the option to move service users to another bedroom. The coordination by all involved was therefore critical to its success.

The project was successfully completed in January 2024 with both main contractor and the Trust are delighted with the project and the way it had been delivered by the team.
