The Welcome Building is an exemplary quality, multi-occupier building designed to provide the highest quality working environment in the heart of Bristol.
Close to Bristol Temple Meads station and Brunel floating harbour, Welcome Building has been designed with tenant flexibility in mind, with open and reconfigurable spaces ranging between 10,000 and 30,000 sq. ft and all floors able to be subdivided into separate tenancies.
The building will be an all-electric workspace with PV cells on the roof and is targeting net zero carbon in operation and BREEAM outstanding.
Britplas have been responsible for the design, supply, and installation for the building envelope. The system has an interesting ‘’twist’’ as the mullions are staggered (by 300mm) at each floor plate on the upper floors, and the stair cores at each end of the building slope to match the stair stringers.
