Britplas were selected as Oxleas NHS Foundation Trusts preferred window supplier in a recent refurbishment of its estate, with work running from 2017 to 2019.

The extensive window replacement program focussed on three buildings spread throughout South East London and Crawley. The three buildings, Oxleas House, Greenpark House and Woodlands House were completed one after another to reduce the impact of the works on the ability to provide care and support to service users.

The facilities are spread over 10 wards including specific dementia, adult medium secure, adult acute and psychiatric intensive care units – all environments the Safevent Access is tried and tested in.

The anti-ligature improvement program resulted in 254 of Britplas’ aluminium Safevent Access windows being designed and manufactured to fit the existing buildings, with the installation program replacing the outdated top-hung restricted opening windows.
